Rock Art With Marv

My dad has a real passion for indian rock art and recently shared many of his sites. Ashley and I met up with him in Rangely and visited a few places as he shared what he knows about them with us.

A photographer in the making. Following in her momma's footsteps.

A unique three generation photo.

A rare glimps of this photographer at work.

With all the patients my dad has, he took time out to figure how to use his GPS Unit. He did finally get it to work and we found the locations we were looking for. Way to go Marv!

After spending a couple of hours in the wind, poor Ashley got so plugged up that she couldn't enjoy the sites any longer. We ended up cutting our adventure a little short so she could have a reprieve but we did get the most out of the time we had.

The edge of what is believed to be an ancient granary. Looking closely you can see actual hand prints in the rock that was left there by the builders when it was mud.

This is the full view of the granary and the walls of what is believed to be a well to the left of it.

This panel is called the "waving hands"
