BLESSINGS

Last weekend while we were at Glenn and Shirline's house we got to celebrate with the Hermann side of the family at a graduation party for Andrew Hermann. We went to a picnic up Provo Canyon and reacquainted ourselves with some old friends. After the party we had the most awesome opportunity to go to the temple with our youngest son, Danny. He received his limited use recommend and wanted us to go with him for his first time back to the temple to do baptisms. It was so touching for me to sit directly in front of the font facing him as his dad did the baptising. I watched his expression as he held his dad's arm in preparation of the ordinance for the dead. I was thinking that somewhere beyond the veil there was a mother that was just as pleased that her son was being baptised by proxy as I was for my son doing the work. I started crying the minute he entered the font and didn't stop till he hugged me on his way out. I just want you to know that I KNOW when we raise our children in truth and righteousness, if they go astray...they WILL find their way back. Don't ever give up. I'm so blessed to be the mother of these four beautiful children and to have their father as my eternal companion. Life just doesn't get any better than this.
