Most of you have seen photos of Dave on his bike looking like this BUT today it is a big deal for us especially after the year he has had. He is feeling great and has been looking forward to easing back onto his saddle for the first time. I think the first photo he was trying to call Jon to see if he wanted to go for a ride with him but after Jon "rejected" his call he took off anyway for the Fruit Loop. (just kidding about the call to Jon, but I'm sure he would have it he thought there was a chance of Jon coming.) He promised he wouldn't "overdo" this first ride but Dave can't do anything half way...I'm expecting many sore muscles when he gets home in an hour or so but I'm so excited to hear of his adventure.

Funny. Jon did go on a bike ride yesterday afternoon. Bizarre. I know he misses biking with Dave. Great pictures. I hope Dave will get strong again soon!
Thanks Jen, This is too funny. These boys are sure "connected"! Word on the street (and dave put it out on the street), there is a "possibility" of making the Kokopelli happen next year. Are you up for it?
I'm so glad dad is feeling better, hopefully this is the beginning of a good year with virtually no pain!
