Easter Birthday Weekend

This year I had a very special birthday wish come true (and I hadn't even blown out my candles yet)! I wished that ALL MY CHILDREN would come spend my birthday and Easter with me and they did!! We now have 6 grand children with one more on the way. Our house was full of laughter and song, chatter and the sounds of babies. We had a most delightful weekend together. One of our traditions is to stand on the porch upon departure, as our guests drive away down the street until they round the corner, waving the whole time. As Jake and Emma and Annabelle left yesterday there was quite a group of us on the porch, then with the departure of Tiffany and Todd there were a few less but be held to tradition. Then Ashley and Josh, with Kaylee and Isaac left leaving only a small group standing on the porch. Finally it was time for Danny, Ashley and Maddy to go, leaving Dave and I alone to bid our children farewell and a safe journey. How I love the fullness of the our home when our clan gathers and we fill our time with more precious memories. I look forward to the next adventure that we can share.

My Dad came and spent the day with us. It gave him a good chance to get acquainted with our children again and to meet his newest "great grand children!"

Our latest family portrait... My dad (Grandpa Moore), Dave, Sue, Emma, Jake, Annabelle, Josh, Ashley Kay, Isaac, Ashley Thay, Danny, Maddy, Emma, Kaylee, Todd, Tiffany, and Max! Only a few short years ago it was just the SIX of us. Now we have grown to 16!
