I spent most of my summer on the road traveling from Grand Junction to Santa Fe and White Rock, NM. I did sneak in a trip with my dad to his favorite rock art site in the Dinosaur National Monument. I love hanging out with my dad!

After my adventure with Dad I stopped off for a quick night to see Ashley, Josh and Kaylee. I was scheduled to teach my lesson in Relief Society so I had to travel home Sunday morning. Turns out I didn't even teach the class...darn it...I could have stayed two more days. Oh well...next time.

Little Max loves his circus toys in his exer-saucer.

Who is going to win this power stare?

Looks like it's a tie!

Emma loves her baby goats. She is so good with them but they are still a wee bit heavy for her.

Not much for this boy to do on the goat farm.

Everyone wants to be milked by this milkman!

Jakey turns 25 this year! To celebrate he and his dad, Uncle Jon and Aunt Jen ran in a 1/2 marathon. Dave never even trained but his hypnotherapy really came in handy for this activity. This was Dave and Jake's first 1/2 marathon...it will be a birthday we will remember for some time.

Jaide and Crystal came along to cheer the runners on.

Brothersome Boys!

These boys are tired!

I'll hold you up runner #592. Just lean on me!

The celebration!

Papa and his girls.

Jake's Birthday cake.

Ashley and Josh gave us a great demonstration on the genealogy program the church has put out. She really has put a lot of time into family history.

Not sure what is happening here???

This cute girl has to have special milk products (as in NO MILK in the products). She loves Silk yogurt. Thank goodness we could find some.

Second trip to Pagosa Springs this summer we got to spend a couple of nights with Todd, Tiff and the kids. We found a wonderful restaurant that served HUGE portions. Enough for two more meals. Yummy.

Getting ready to go jogging. Emma made it to the end of the block and that was all she had in her. Good effort EM!

Kaylee loves her peaches.

Why so serious?

Hey Maxey!

She loves to color like her momma did when she was little (well I guess she still loves to color).

Yes...he belongs on the Geek Squad!

A simply SPLENDID evening of guitars and singing. We have not done this in a very long time. Ashley...I hope your tape turned out good...this night was a keeper.
Our girls learned how to make jam this weekend. Ashley Kay did the teachin and I did the providin! We love our girls!!!

Boys and their toys!

Take it away Dan!

A quick trip up to Gateway Canyons to listen to Matt and Stephanie Griffith play and sing.

My sidekick at the Winefest!

Who loves Papa? We ALL DO!!

Chef Ashley.

Tiffy teaching Ashley Thay about Texas Spaghetti. Thanks Aunt Shirline for the recipe!

Danny and Ashley's bed is the gathering place in their cute little apartment. We dropped in unexpectedly on our anniversary weekend because somehow that seemed like the place we needed to be to celebrate our wonderful 30 years of marriage. It's just not a celebration if you don't have your loved ones to be with.

Thanks sweetheart for putting up with me for these past 30 years. We have TONS of memories from our YEARS of FUN. I am so thankful for my family and the endless love we have for one another. This is what we are all about!!!
NOW THAT WAS A GREAT GAME!!!
