Do these kids look happy to be spending time with the folks?

WAY UP THERE is Danny and Ashley. We stayed at the Polo Towers for $70 a night.

View from our room.

Buffet dinner at the Excalibur. Buffets are not cheap these days...not like the ole days when our kids were little!

Freaks on the corner.

The expecting parents.

Do you think the wind blows down this canyon?

There was a fire on the mountain through this canyon and they were hauling water with this helicopter. It took us over an hour to move about 5 miles!

Dave shot these photos out the window when we finally got to the fire scene. He did a wonderful job of capturing the moment. We are going to try to send them in to the fire department that was on the scene.

It looks to us that this camper that is totally destroyed must have been the cause of the fire. If not...it was their misfortune to break down right there and get burned up randomly! Bummer!

El Toritos...this was our favorite place to eat when I lived in San Diego MANY years ago...it's not as good as I remembered it. Probably won't go back. We found better places in Old Town!

Seals come out at night in LaJolla and Danny and Ashley guided us there after dinner so we could experience this. It was very dark so I had to flash to get the images but you can make them out. We ran into a woman that was going to save the seal population single handedly and got on my case for using the flash because "It scares the seals away" They were coming IN to the bay...not leaving. She meant well!

The San Diego Temple is as beautiful on the inside as it is outside. We barely got there in time to do some temple work.

BEACH TIME!!
This was the warmest day San Diego had all summer and they estimated that there were 35,000 people at the beaches. There were a fair number where we were on Coronado Island but it was still very nice.

These are dolphins that were swimming by...we didn't notice them till they were past us.

Hotel Del Coronado. I love this place.

Random shots of random people and birds.

Sunset Lovers!

Sand Castle and the sculptor. This thing was amazing!

Old Town Art.

Old Town jail from the 1800's. All metal...this would be SO HOT!

Back to Vegas.

The Bellagio.

Mime. He's the Money guy on Monopoly. He was very good.

A little M&M FUN!

We tested the different flavors of Coke. Some of them were ok but some were GROSS!
